Three Shuffles and a Draw

How this variant plays

The opening matches La Belle Lucie: seventeen three-card fans and one one-card fan. Only top cards move normally, building down in the same suit or up on a suit foundation. Empty fans stay empty. Two redeals are available when no normal move remains.

The final merci draw

After both redeals are spent and no normal move remains, one buried card may be moved to a legal foundation or fan destination. The merci draw is available once. Compare eligible cards by what the move exposes and what its destination covers.
