How Shamrocks plays
One deck fills seventeen three-card fans and one one-card fan. Only top cards move. A card may land on a fan top one rank above or below it regardless of suit. Each fan may hold at most three cards; an empty fan cannot be refilled. There are no redeals.
Watch fan capacity
A receiving fan with two cards can accept one legal card, then becomes full. Compare what the move exposes with what it covers. Foundations build upward by suit from Ace.
