What is Kuiper Solitaire?
Kuiper Solitaire is a Klondike relative with eight tableau columns instead of seven. The larger opening deal leaves 16 cards in its draw-one stock. Its waste can be recycled when the stock is empty, as in this site’s Klondike game. The extra column changes where hidden cards are buried.
Full rules
One 52-card deck. Eight tableau columns are dealt in Klondike-style triangle (1 through 8 cards, top card face-up). Foundations build upward by suit from Ace to King. Tableau sequences build downward in alternating colors; properly ordered sequences move as units. Only Kings fill empty columns. Stock deals one card at a time; the waste recycles unlimited times. Win by moving all 52 cards to the four foundations.
How Kuiper differs from Klondike
Kuiper has an eighth column and a 16-card stock; this site’s Klondike has seven columns and a 24-card stock. Both games allow waste recycling. The eighth column offers another possible destination for a sequence, while its seven hidden cards can take work to expose.
Compare moves that reveal hidden cards, open a column for a King, or advance a foundation without removing a needed tableau base.
