Why Tri Peaks feels different
Tri Peaks mixes quick Golf-style adjacency with Pyramid-style exposure decisions. The best move is often the one that opens two or three future cards, not the one that just keeps a streak alive for one more turn.
Core rule
Move an exposed tableau card to the waste if its rank is exactly one above or below the waste top. If no exposed card fits, draw from the stock and re-evaluate the board.
Strategy tips
- Prefer lines that uncover two new cards at once, because exposure matters more than a short local streak.
- Delay a stock draw until every exposed option has been checked against the current waste top.
- Watch for bridge ranks such as 6, 7, and 8 that can keep a long chain alive across multiple peaks.
