Open the four reserves without losing tableau space.

Two decks seed eight foundations with Aces. Four reserves hold thirteen cards each; the other 44 cards fill eight face-up tableau rows. Only a reserve or row top can move. The next buried reserve card becomes available only after its top leaves.

Trace the next reserve card

The reserve top can go to a foundation if it is one rank above that foundation’s top, or to a tableau row whose top is one rank higher. An empty row accepts it too. Each move out of a reserve reveals its next card, but a row placement may cover a card needed elsewhere. Compare the new reserve access with the destination card you are burying.

Constructed reserve choice

A reserve top is a Seven of Hearts, with a needed Two of Clubs beneath it. A tableau row ends in an Eight of Spades, and an empty row is also available. Either destination accepts the Seven because tableau building ignores suit. The empty row keeps the Eight exposed; placing on the Eight preserves the gap. Choose according to the next card each route needs.

Read the actual foundation tops

The eight foundations build upward by rank without a suit restriction in this implementation. A matching next rank from any suit can advance any eligible foundation, so the two copies of a rank may have several possible homes. Look at which foundation move frees the next reserve or row card.

The Castle family guide explains rank-only tableau access. Four deep reserves and suit-independent foundations make this game a separate branch.
