Casket Solitaire

A moderately difficult two-deck patience game. Eight tableau piles form the Casket — they build down in suit. Five face-up reserve cards form the Lid; as each Lid card is played, it is replaced by one of the thirteen hidden Jewel cards. Deal from the stock one card at a time into the lowest-count waste pile or onto the tableau. Move all 104 cards to the eight foundations (two per suit, Ace to King) to win. No redeals are permitted.

How to Play

Goal: Move all 104 cards to the eight foundations, two per suit, each building up from Ace to King in suit.
The Casket (8 tableau piles) builds down in the same suit — e.g., 7♣ on 8♣. Any card may fill an empty Casket space.
The Lid (5 reserve piles) holds one face-up card each. Lid cards cannot be built upon — only played to the Casket or a foundation.
Jewels: Each time a Lid card is played, the next hidden Jewel card automatically replaces it face-up.
Stock & Waste: Click the stock to deal one card. Dealt cards go to an empty Casket space if available, otherwise to the smallest waste pile. Waste top cards can be played at any time.
No redeals are allowed once the stock is exhausted.
Click a card to select it (highlighted destinations appear), then click a destination to move it. Click the same card again to deselect.

Casket adds layered reserve mechanics on top of a two-deck suit-building puzzle, which makes access management the heart of the game.
